FAQs
Find answers to common questions about our dog walking, playpark, and pet care services in Christchurch. If you need anything else, feel free to get in touch

Are you fully insured?
Yes, we are fully insured to professionally care for your dog, with £5 million public liability cover in place for your peace of mind.
What training and qualifications do you have?
We are trained in Canine First Aid and have over 16 years of hands on experience working with dogs. We are an established local business with a strong reputation for reliable care.
Will my dog be supervised at all times?
Yes, your dog will never be left unattended. All dogs are under constant supervision throughout their time with us.
How do you make sure the dogs get along?
We only accept sociable and friendly dogs with basic levels of training. Each dog is assessed before joining to ensure they are comfortable and suited to group interaction.
Do I need to be home when you collect or return my dog?
No, most of our clients provide a key or use a secure key safe. All keys are handled carefully with no reference to your address.
Do I need to book the same days each week?
We recommend keeping the same days each week for consistency, but we understand that schedules can vary and we will always try to be flexible.
Will my dog be cleaned before returning home if muddy?
We do our best to return your dog in a suitable condition. We have access to water and drying equipment on site, which is especially helpful during wetter months.
How do you transport the dogs?
Dogs are transported in professionally fitted vehicles with secure crating, comfortable bedding, air conditioning, and fresh water available.
Can small dogs join the playpark?
Yes, we welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds, as long as they are well behaved. Every dog is assessed before joining to ensure they are suited to the environment.
Can my puppy join?
Yes, puppies are welcome. Early socialisation is important, and we have suitable setups in place to support dogs of all ages.
My puppy needs lunch, can you feed them?
Yes, we are happy to feed your puppy. You can provide food in a container or leave it ready at home for when we return.
Does my dog need to attend at least once a week?
Regular bookings are preferred as availability is limited, but we will always try to accommodate your needs where possible.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. With limited daily spaces available, late cancellations may still be charged.
Do you walk dogs that cannot be let off lead?
Yes, this is not a problem. Our secure private playpark allows dogs to exercise safely. We can also use long lines and training methods to support recall development.
Can I come with my dog on their first walk?
Owners are not encouraged to attend the first session, as it can make the adjustment more difficult for your dog. We provide updates and videos so you can see how they are settling in.
Do you walk in all weather?
Yes, we walk in most weather conditions. Only unsafe driving conditions would prevent us from operating.
Are there any legal requirements for my dog?
All dogs must be microchipped and wear a collar with an ID tag when outside. We also require dogs to be vaccinated and regularly treated for fleas and worms unless agreed otherwise.
What happens in an emergency?
In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will contact you immediately. If veterinary care is needed, we will take your dog to your chosen vet or the nearest available practice.
